How long are your tickets good for?

Tickets are good for one year from the date of purchase.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We accept cash, travelers checks, and all the major credit cards.

Do I have to use the Combo tickets the same day?

The Combo tickets are good for one year from the date of purchase.

Can I leave and revisit the same day?

Yes! Your tickets are an all-day pass. When you exit the Aquarium, ask for a hand stamp in the gift store and you can return later that same day.

How long does it take to tour each attraction?

We recommend allowing two hours or more to tour the Aquarium.

What types of discounts do you have available?

We offer discounts for AAA and AARP members, and local residents.

Military Members with proof of service will receive 30% off and they will be able to bring up to four guests at a 30% discount.

First Responder’s will receive 30% off and they will be able to bring up to four guests at a 30% discount.

Where can I park?

There is plenty of free parking available in front of the Aquarium and all around Broadway at the Beach.

Discounts for Residents of Horry County

Horry County Residents only will receive a 50% discount with proof of residency. They will be able to bring up to four guests at a 25% discount.

Do you allow cameras/camcorders?

Absolutely YES! Feel free to take pictures and shoot video and share with your friends and family.

Is the Aquarium wheelchair accessible?

The Aquarium is wheelchair and stroller friendly.

Do you have wheelchairs?

Wheelchairs are available at Guest Services.

Do I need to make a reservation?

General admission to tour the Aquarium does not require reservations.

Do you have or can I bring a stroller?

The Aquarium is stroller friendly. Strollers may be rented at Guest Services for $3.

Do you allow pets?

Only service animals are allowed per ADA specifications.

What procedures do you have in place to minimize the spread of illness among guests?

We take thorough steps to keep our attractions safe and promote a healthy environment. To protect our guests and associates, and prevent the spread of illness, we employ rigorous sanitation standards and robust cleaning procedures, including:

    • Extensive training on maintaining a safe and hygienic workplace and environment for our guests
    • Appropriate personal protective clothing for those who are assigned cleaning duties
    • Procedures for cleaning and disinfection of areas throughout the day and where illness has been suspected or reported
    • Quick response to spills, trash, and other situations
    • Daily sanitation procedures for everything, including bathrooms, faucets and sinks, benches and trash cans

We trust you to make your own choice as to whether you want to wear a face mask and ask that you respect the choices of our other guests.

We closely monitor local, state, and national public health authorities, and take their guidance when additional preventive measures are needed.
