Sustainable Sushi Workshop
July 10 @ 4:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Sustainable Sushi Workshop
Roll on over to the Aquarium and help us foster a culture of sustainability while you create your own ocean-friendly sushi! Led by sushi chef GringoNinja, this class not only explores the traditions and techniques of sushi-rolling, but also provides sustainable seafood to make your own maki!
Sip your own personal carafe of sake, learn a new art, and stroll through the Aquarium knowing that you can make a difference in the health of our oceans!
Why is sustainably sourced seafood important? It is resistant to pressures from fishing and limits damage to ocean ecosystems. By eating sustainably, you are helping to protect some of the ocean’s most vulnerable species!
Please note, this event is 21+ only. Due to the close quarters of this event, masks are required for guests and team members during the length of the experience.
