Ripley's Aquarium of Canada

Had a great time with the family. The exhibits were informative and beautiful. The younger family members loved the play place.

Guest Services

Wagon and Stroller Policy

Wagons are not permitted. As of May 2023, we no longer allow wagons, “stroller-wagons,” or large running strollers inside the aquarium. This policy change was made to make it easier to move through the aquarium, allowing all guests to view the animals and exhibits up close, with more ease.

Saving Seabirds

Ripley’s Aquariums is a proud supporter of the Southern African Foundation for the Conservation of Coastal Birds (SANCCOB), a nonprofit organization with a mission to reverse the decline of seabird populations through rescue and rehabilitation. The organization treats an average of 2,500 injured, sick, and oiled seabirds annually, including the endangered African penguin. Ripley’s Aquariums penguin paintings donate to this cause regularly, with 50% of all proceeds going to SANCCOB’s conservation efforts.

How Can You Help?

Our actions impact the world around us. Together, we can help preserve our planet for future generations.

Conserve Energy

Small changes can make a big impact on our environment. Share a ride. Turn off the lights. Bike to work. Plant a garden. Think about how everyday actions can save energy now.

Limit Plastics

Cutting down on sing-use plastics protects our natural world. Grab a cloth shopping bag. Pick up some paper straws. Opt for glass or steel containers. Refill soap dispensers from a bulk-sized jug. Try something new to help the planet.

Eat Smart

Making sustainable seafood choices protects our oceans and helps make sure we have a healthy food supply into the future. Read the labels. Ask great questions. Shop around. Join our conservation journey. We are a proud supporter and advocate of the Ocean Wise Seafood program. Ocean Wise Seafood is a nonprofit conservation program created to empower consumers and businesses to make informed decisions about sustainable seafood and educate them on responsible aquaculture practices and issues facing the world’s fisheries. Ocean Wise works directly with partners to ensure they have the latest scientific information available regarding their seafood so they can make ocean-friendly buying decisions. The Ocean Wise symbol on menus and packaging enables customers to easily choose products that ensure the health of our oceans for generations to come.
