What To Expect

Each virtual tour session covers two galleries and is a combination of pre-recorded footage and a live Q&A session with a member of our Guest Experience team. You will be able to ask questions and have the opportunity to dive in for a closer look at the animals and galleries that interest you most. The pre-recorded portions of your tour will provide fun and comprehensive facts about each tank, the species that call them home, interviews with our team, animal feedings, and behind-the-scenes information from our husbandry team—exclusive access that we would not be able to provide otherwise.

Tour Two Galleries of your choice

CANADIAN WATERS and RAINBOW REEF

As you explore the Canadian Waters gallery, you will journey from coast to coast, from freshwater wildernesses to fisheries and kelp forests.

Enjoy the kaleidoscope of fish that flash around their idyllic home and learn more about their precious, but endangered, habitats.

RAINBOW REEF and DANGEROUS LAGOON

Sometimes called rainforests of the sea, coral reefs are rich in life, with a variety of organisms that is rarely equaled.

Sand Tiger Sharks

Immerse yourself in Dangerous Lagoon, our breathtaking underwater gallery, and come face to face with some of the Aquarium’s most jaw-dropping species.

THE GALLERY and RAY BAY

From piranhas to electric eels, the Gallery is home to all different types of aquatic animals.

Cownose Rays

Rays move with incredible grace, and Ray Bay offers the perfect opportunity to experience the thrill of getting up close and personal with these captivating marine animals from home!

RAY BAY and PLANET JELLIES

One of our most popular galleries, featuring four species of stingray and one species of shark! At Ray Bay you can see how some rays use their flattened bodies and large fins to “fly” through the water.

Pacific Sea Nettles

Travel to our Planet Jellies gallery—one of the largest of its kind in the world—and learn more about the four species of jellies beautifully exhibited in circular tanks and colour-changing displays.
