SNAP out of the winter blues at the Aquarium! Learn to take some fishy photos that are sure to impress your friends and family. This three week course will teach you the basics in camera settings, angles, and editing to help you capture the perfect aquarium photo.
This course is offered to digital photography enthusiasts with an interest in the aquarium. Each week will begin with a classroom session led by the talented photography instructor, Andrea Gimblett. After some helpful instructions and refreshments, participants will be able to test their skills on our stunning exhibits.

Price: $160 + HST
The price includes 3 weeks of Aquarium access and photography instruction, refreshments, an Aquarium USB for storing photos, and a printed photo of your choice.
You will need to provide your own digital camera, and any other equipment you choose to use. We do ask however that tripods are left at home. DSLR cameras are recommended.
Your workshop instructor Andrea Gimblett specializes in event and lifestyle photography but loves to photograph all styles. She is active with the local photography community and is the VP of Programs at the Don Mills Camera Club. Andrea leads workshops and outings for the club plus local festivals. She is excited to pass on her knowledge and passion about photography.
First night will cover the basics, second night will cover creative and third night will cover editing. This casual workshop will be a fun night of learning, not only photography, but about life under the sea.
It is strongly suggested that you commit to the entirety of the course. There will be no refunds for classes missed.
Anyone aged 18 plus with a passion for photography, aquariums or both! This course is mainly geared towards amateur/beginner photographers.
