What were you doing before joining Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada?
I was studying in Australia when I fell in love with sharks and started working as an Educator at the Sydney Aquarium.
Favourite aquatic animal in the aquarium?
The shark eggs are my favourite exhibit!
Best part about working at Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada?
Being able to talk about sharks all day and not get funny looks. I also really enjoy having meaningful conversations with people about marine animals and their environments, but mostly I love talking about sharks.
Any other fun facts about you?
I am in an axe throwing league for preparation of the zombie apocalypse.
What made you decide you wanted to pursue a career in Education/Marine biology?
I am a shark translator and I wanted to put those skills to good use.
