Access 2 Entertainment Program

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is a member of the Access 2 Entertainment program administered by Easter Seals Canada. A support person accompanying a guest with disabilities will be allowed to stay with the guest at all times and will be provided with free admission. See Guest Services upon arrival to receive the complimentary support tickets. As a tip to begin your visit faster, it is recommended that the individual with the Access 2 Entertainment have their ticket bought in advance. This will make for a shorter transaction at the desk.

About Your Visit:

For our guests with restricted mobility, wheelchairs and families with strollers, there are ramps located on the west and east side of the building. The East ramp can be accessed at Bremner Blvd., and the West ramp can be accessed between the Aquarium and the CN Tower.

We offer two parking spots for holders of valid accessible parking passes on the east side of the building. They cannot be reserved and are available on a first come first serve basis.

Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is fully wheelchair accessible. A limited number of manual wheelchairs are available at Guest Services free of charge. A piece of government issued photo ID is required to our team to use a wheelchair.

Assistive Devices

Assistive devices are welcomed on our premises.

Guests with Physical Disabilities

We will not touch or move assistive devices without permission. If we move our Guests’ assistive device, we will ensure it remains within their reach.

Earphones are available at the Guest Services desk to assist those with sensitive hearing.

Service Animals

Please click here for more details on our Service Animal policy. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada does allow Service Animals without their official documentation.

We encourage guests with support animals to contact our Guest Services team before their date of visit. Official paperwork may be requested.

Sensory information about your visit:

Many areas of the aquarium have lower lighting to ensure an optimal viewing experience of the exhibits. Our Sensory Mornings hold the first Sunday of every month have additional lighting. Further details click here.

There are three washrooms in Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada. The first is located immediately upon entry. The second is located in the Discovery Centre at the halfway point of the tour. Our family washroom has an adult changing table, located near upper Ray Bay towards the end of the tour.
