Camp Programs

Family Night Out

Moms and dads leave your worries behind and get ready to have a night to remember with the kids!

You’ll explore Ripley’s Aquarium of the Smokies and participate in a variety of fun family science experiments and activities. After a fun-filled evening you’ll set up camp in Penguin Playhouse. Let the animals keep a watchful eye on you while you sleep.

Details and Cost

  • Camp includes: Aquarium admission, activities, late night snack, breakfast and certificate of participation.
  • Dates: June 23, July 14 and July 28, 2013
  • Times: 8:00 pm – 9:00 am
  • Ages: 3 and up
  • Cost: $45 plus tax per person

Penguin Playhouse Dates

EcoVenture Camp

Join the Ripley’s Nature Team as we explore and learn about environmental issues while leading you into the Great Smoky Mountains for an EcoVenture! You will team up with other campers to calculate your carbon footprint, investigate nature and discover what it takes to help change the world!

Details and Cost

  • Camp includes: Aquarium admission, Activities, 4 meals, EcoVenture Notebook, a guided youth hike into the Smoky Mountains and a token of participation.
  • Attire: Call for requirements.
  • Dates: June 27, July 18 and August 1, 2013
  • Times: 10:00 am on dates listed and ends the following day at 4:00 pm
  • Ages: 11 – 17
  • Cost: $120 plus tax per person; Annual Pass Holders: $110 plus tax per annual pass holder

Dinosaurs!

During Ripley’s Dinosaur Camp, you will journey back millions of years to when dinosaurs ruled the earth. As Junior Paleontologists, youth explorers will dig for fossils, follow in the path of a paleontologist, make your own fossil to take home, snooze next to creatures and more!

  • Camp includes: Aquarium admission, Activities, 3 Meals, Field Trip to Gray Fossil Site in Gray, TN and a token of participation.
  • Attire: Call for requirements.
  • Dates: June 25, July 16 and July 30, 2013
  • Times: 10:00 am  on dates listed and ends the following day at 9:00 am
  • Ages: 6 – 14
  • Cost: $99 plus tax per person; Annual Pass Holders: $89 plus tax per annual pass holder
