What are Time Tickets?
Time Tickets allow you to conveniently select the date and time you wish to visit the Aquarium, giving you peace of mind that you won’t have to wait in long lines when you arrive. Simply arrive during your selected entry time, and our Guest Services staff will scan your ticket and welcome you inside the Aquarium.
I can’t make it for my Time slot, am I out of luck?
Not to worry! Please come to our Guest Services counter and we will be able to re-issue you another ticket, valid for one year.
What are Anytime Tickets?
Anytime tickets are valid for any day, any time- no reservation required. These tickets may be purchased at the aquarium and make perfect gifts as they are valid for one year from date of purchase.
How do I buy tickets?
The easiest way to buy tickets is online. You can also buy tickets at our Guest Services counter or at one of our self-serve kiosk machines.
I booked a time slot from 10 AM to 11 AM, does that mean I only have one hour to view the aquarium?
No, this is your entry time. You may stay as long as you wish at the aquarium!
How long does it take to get through the aquarium?
The experience takes approximately 2 to 2.5 hours. However, this time can vary person to person.
I bought tickets online but have not received my e-tickets. What should I do now?
For Hotmail users, please check your junk folder for your e-mail. If you still have not received the e-mail please contact our guest services team at firstname.lastname@example.org or 647-351-FISH and we will be able to follow up with the e-mail. Alternatively, you can bring your confirmation number or the last 4 digits of your credit card to Guest Services and we will be able to print out your ticket.
Do we need to print out the tickets beforehand?
No, you can show your e-ticket on your smartphone. Please ensure the tickets are downloaded displaying the barcode and ready to be scanned with the screen brightness all the way up.
When are your peak hours?
Our peak hours are 11 AM to 4 PM on weekends.
Are you part of Access 2 Entertainment?
Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada is part of the Access 2 Entertainment program. We are committed to providing you with equal access to our products and services in a manner that respects your dignity, individuality and independence. We will not make assumptions about your needs, but will rely on you to guide us regarding the best way to assist you.
Are outside food and beverages permitted in the aquarium?
Outside food and beverages are not permitted onsite unless it is for special dietary needs.
Is there coat check or cubbies to store my personal items?
Yes, we offer coat check and/or cubbies for $2.
Do you offer strollers?
Yes, we rent out umbrella strollers for $3. You will need to leave a piece of ID at Guest Services. Please note these are subject to availability.
Do you offer wheelchairs?
Yes, we have wheelchairs free of cost. You will need to leave a piece of ID at Guest Services. Please note these wheelchairs are subject to availability.
What are the benefits of purchasing an annual pass?
• Unlimited visits for one year from date of first use
• 10% discount at the Ripley’s Café and the Cargo Hold Gift Shop
• 10% discount on tickets for up to 4 guests on the same day of visit (subject to availability). This discount is only redeemable at the aquarium (not online) and will be processed at Guest Services. Ripley’s Aquarium of Canada has the right to revoke this promotion at any time at our discretion.
Are annual passes transferable?
No, annual passes have photo ID, and are non- transferable.
Can you put your ticket towards an annual pass?
You can upgrade your ticket to an annual pass within 24 hours of your visit.
Can you purchase gift certificates or gift cards?
Not at the moment. However, our Anytime tickets make perfect gifts as they are valid for one year from date of purchase. You can also ask our Guest Services team for a complimentary ticket gift carrier, which pairs nicely with the ticket!
Do you have any special shows?
We have an interactive dive show every two hours. Guests will learn more about the exhibit as well as the different species of the tank from an educator and diver communicating via microphone.

Are there any in-and-out privileges?
We do not allow in-and-out privileges.
Do you have a lost and found?
Yes. Please visit our Coat Check room where our Guest Services team will do their best to find your lost item.
Do you offer family washrooms?
Yes, there is a family washroom located on the main floor next to the Shark Touch Pool.
Do you have food and drinks available?
Yes, we offer a variety of hot and cold foods at our Ripley’s café. Grab a salad or a slice of pizza, there is something for everyone.
Do you offer a student discount?
No. We do not currently offer a student discount.
Can we bring pets to the aquarium?
No, only service animals are permitted.
I am taking the Public Transit, what stop do I get off?
Union Station is the closest stop to us. From there you would need to go to Concourse Hall and towards the Skywalk. Once you reach the end of the Skywalk make a left outside (just for a brief moment) and into our building
